Kristal Moore Clemons, Ph.D.
Clemons was promoted to Full Professor and received the 2023–2024 Virginia State University Outstanding Faculty Rising Star Stellar Award for excellence in teaching, research, and service. She was also recently named Interim Associate Dean of the College of Education at VSU.
Sherri D. Jordan (SES)
Jordan was recently appointed Chief Financial Officer at the Architect of the Capitol, where she oversees a $1 billion budget, accounting operations, and enterprise risk management.
Deloris G. Jordan
Jordan was named to the Board of Directors of Downtown Churches United, which provides food, financial, and utility assistance to Petersburg’s most vulnerable residents.
Ernestine G. Wilson
Wilson was elected President of the George Washington Carver Alumni & Friends Association, leading efforts to fund scholarships honoring Principal W. A. Brown. She was also featured a featured guest on Chesterfield County's podcast series, Behind the Mic, Wilson discussed her work with the African American History Committee of the Chesterfield County Historical Society, her experiences growing up in Chesterfield County, and her current contributions to the community through education and service on the County's Juneteenth Committee. Nakeina E. Douglas-Glenn, PhD
Douglas-Glenn was recently elected Board Chair of Health Brigade, Virginia's oldest free and charitable clinic, where she leads efforts to enhance equitable access to health services for marginalized communities.
